You didnt get the point !!! The site says Assam Vision 2025 ... maybe in 2025 the whole of Barak Valley will no longer be in Assam and so they specifically missed out the whole valley ;) !!! So maybe the vision is clear ... statehood for Barak Valley 8) |

It's true " silchar does not come to the picture of Assam Government.Because there is no one strong enough to represent our city.Santosh Mohan or Kobindra - What they did for silchar ? but still we vote for them since we do not have any other option.Silchar will never come to the map of Assam untill and unless there is proper and competent,strong, knowledgable and young potential come forward to represent silchar. |

Saw the website just now.....true that the entire Cachar region has vanished from the map. There may be 100's of reason for that. Few dominant reasons could be:
1) Poor infrastructural and economic condition of Barak Velly.
2) Population largely consists of SILETI (minority group).
3) Discriminative approach of State Govt. towards the region.
4) Incompetent leaders represented n representing the region.

Even if we treat this as an error we have to take this seriously as the NIC team is not at all aware of the topography of the country. This certainly is an insult, to the people of this part who have contributed a lot to the country as a whole.
All of us who talk about the identity we have....don't you think this is a hard slap on our face???? |

Tarun Gogoi Silchar Ailay Tan Putkith Aikh Ala Muli Bash Dokaiya Rana Debar Barir Samney Bash Gathiya Rakhio then only the name of Silchar will even appear in the land record office of Silchar itself!
After this term Rana Deb will buy few more Tea Gardens and we the Silaty Bengalies will perform his Puja and will lick his toes!
