Sylheti is also spoken in Shillong [Meghalaya], in various parts of Assam, in Calcutta [Nabadarsha, Birati..] and also in Delhi!! Atleast by me: one sylheti is equivalent to 100 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Shylleti is spoken in many parts of the world. In UK believe it or not the most spoken language in London schools after English is Shylleti. In east London there about 150,000 Shylletis. There are about half a milliion Shylletis in UK. I am not sure but there are couple of thousand of Shylletis in Rome. In NY and LA and in Frisco there are thousands of Shylletis. In Scandinavia there are few of them.
There is a Website in Shylleti maintained from UK. I'll try to find and post for you all.

nice to see that sylheti going global. so i cn conclude that in real sense of the term globalisation phenomena has started and we are a part of it. my humble request to all those "so -called sylhetis"who hide their identity of being a sylheti to come foroward and take part in this globalisation phenomena or otherwise don't dare to call urself even a human being as a person having no love for his mother toungue is not a human being at all.
