the bangla we speak out here is not sylehti .so friends i think we should stop refering it with sylehti .
it has many sylehti word but it is not sylehti.

That's what u call "Sampling Error".
Your not speaking Sylheti,per se, can in no way be concluded as representative of the whole community. :)
You represent the exception to the rule that 'People in Silchar do speak unadulterated Sylheti'
And actually you get to hear non-sylheti bengali from two types of people
1.'Sylheti Girls who speak Kelu' ;D
2.'Recent Bangladeshi infiltrators' ;D (Mind you the sylheti who u find here are from Sylhet in Bangladesh too,B ut they are not infiltrators!!!) ;D
Hope this settles the thread once for all
