Dear Silcharites,
I have placed a question to you all -
Why syhlleti girls look so beautiful and pretty? There may be several reasons for it -
1) It may be that syhlet- from where they originally belonged to is a land of mountains and rivers. Nature in its pristine glory is found here. This also had a profound influence on syhlleti girls.
2) It may be historical. Sufism flourished in syhlet since the medieval times. The mixing of diverse cultures in syhlet made the women have beautiful faces as a result of the birth of a new colour of tolerance and mutual respect between Hindus and Muslims.
3) No dowry system in syhlet meant that the position of women in syhlet was better than in other parts of colonial India.
These are my views-
I want to know what you think on this question.

Aami aapnar kathay ekdom sahmat je saundarjyo monero hoe.

Syhlleti meyeder shonge aamar idaning dekha hoeche.
aamar thakurdar mashi syhleter chilen. tini FRCS surgeon chilen aar biye tha koren ni. Unar naam chile Dr Maitreyi Chaudhuri aar uni Dharmada grame thakten. Onar shutre aami syhllet shomporke jaante paarlam.
