What's going on in REC?

Guys....
what's going on out there? Heard about another suicide.....but didn't even know about the first one.
I didn't know Probal, it seems he joined after I left. But I am equally shocked.
As far as I know, we lost our friend Rajib Mishra in the Gaisal Train Accident, lost our senior Dipankar Rava and Sanjiv Debnath in different accidents. But never heard of a suicide (at least after I joined).
So was it because of some academic pressure....or some personal reason? I know it's not a time to talk about those things....but I believe we should analyze the reason and try to prevent such incidents.
It will be great if some of you let us know about the two suicide incidents. I don't blame anybody personally. I know may be some person some how (may be indirecly) is responsible for this. But I am sure Prabal himself did some mistakes. We should find those and prevent others from doing the same mistakes again.

Dear all students / leaders ,
One REC student from Hailakandi District get mad for REC sinior students raging. Is it a justice to the world.
His father is retired teacher , so, you can imagine how the father collect the money to send his son to REC with what dream. That Student was a starmark holder in HSLC , HS & then he get admishon in REC.
The old cinior stdents make raging & push him to drink alchohol what he never did , they push him to Jump from 2 story building, they push him to walk beside fire for a month time after addmishon. He was not escaping because he was thinking they will stop it & if he go out what will happen with his family.
He tollarate the beating everyday without talking to any body because they sought him i he complain they will kick him out of the REC & for that he keep close his mouth. After a month when his father come to see him he started to worry from his father also. He was escaping to the corner of the room & saying don't beat me , i want to be a engineer thats my fathers dream.
Father was poor & he did not care well & leave his son & come back. Within a year this boy loose his sensetivity & get mad. He do his study & make first class result always & never come out from room after eating food.
This way he compleet study & come back to home but still he afraid from any Human. He loose his sence. You feel what is going with his family, what is the dream , where is the life of that boy. He compleeted his study before 5 years & still worried about human , don't want to come out side in rush or don't want to meet any human & close himself in house.
Doctor's says By raging he loose his faith from human & he will be like this for ever.His parents don't have much money to spend for him for treatment. Also he don't have any job, no one is helping them, how he will pass his life after his parests die. Help him .......
I ask all students that what is Raging. Is it a style , modernity or Just kidding to kill others. I request all to help this student to come out from the seekness . Help him to get a job.
I know i will find one day one Gentleman will fell sorrow what he did in his student life & he will search the junior students to make excuse but he will not find those who killed by him & he will be the guilty for himself .
Stop Raging & Stop killing others.

Well mr javed
First of all i would say that i am a student of 2004 passout and although in my ragging days when i was a junior in the summer of 2000; i faced very hard ragging but hey the seniors of mine were not that bad either. they beat the hell out of me; but later the guys who ragged me the most were my best friends and they continued to help me for 3 years and even after i have now passed out, i am still getting help from them. And i also have remained senior in that college for three years and i know what kind of a relation i have with my juniors.
actually it all depends upon the nature of the individual who is ragging. And as days are passing ragging is decreasing at a very fast pace in rec silchar. so friend u need not to worry. the winds of change has already started. but i really feel sorry for that guy. what is his name and what is he doing now.
i really hate such irresponsible behaviour on the part of the senior. I believe ragging should be done only with the intention of introduction and increasing the level of smartness of the juniors and nothing else.
if u think that i am wrong in my view point then please do inform me

Dear Mr. Bhattacharjee,
Thanks for your symphathy & you are wright in your way of thinking.
I need the parents to teach their child how to save others life & not to teach how to kill others.
This student in locked in a room & his leg is pulled by chain & his Parents only going near to him to give food & waiting when their son will die & they will get release from this tention physically , mentally,financially. They can't kill him but they are praying to god to get him back from the world.
Who is responsible for this . Only the Students who did the raging.................. They did for enjoying & its killing so many people, their dream ,happiness,,,,,,
God will not leave them....................
Actually i am bound not to say the name of that Student because his parents still thinking if their son again become good & get a job it will effect his carrier.
God bless them & Duah for them to your god......

Ragging is good when it comes to pranks and remarks and excellent when it uncovers the talents of freshers. But it's hell when seniors try to prove their point. Reasons I've noticed when I was in REC is that, there are people who get heavy ragging in their first sem and then again apply the same funda to juniors next year, forgetting what they went thorugh the last year. The other is guys who think by beating juniors, they can spread a macho image of their and will always be dreaded among juniors, which is not the case.
