Want to share movies ?

Hi guys
Just a wild idea has come to the mind ... what about sharing the collection of movies that we have with others ? In this way all of us can have a big collection of movies and don't need make hours in metro to find a place to purchase Indian movie DVDs or spend hours downloading from P2P sites.
I am having 'Black' for example, and I can easily zip it and send it to you guys by email ... and the same others can do as well ...
Those who are interested, just knock me ... and I will be glad to share my collection ... |

I have Black at the moment and now trying for kaal and Company.
I think there will still be a difference of taste between u and me ... you are 'Keats' and I'm 'Kigoobe' ... u have 'million dollar baby' and I have Amitabh & Rani wali 'Black'.
Anyway ... if u don't have any problem with Hindi movies, then we can share of course as I won't be having any english movie to share with u. |

Kigoobe your idea sounds fantastic, I can also partake some movies like
The Terminal
The girl next door
and regarding the "taste", had a small remark, at times servings are so confined that you got to eat whats served.
Hope I made a point there kigoobe ;D |

Hi Sourav, the idea is really good. At present I have the following movies -
Hindi - D, Samay
English - Casablanca, The Magnificient Seven, Devil's Advocate, The Great Train Robbery, Saving Private Ryan

Maximum file size that I can send is 10Mb .. Tried and failed ... in both Yahoo and Gmail ... any other idea ?

Dear Montu, its not that I haven't thought about that ... but it seems to be a bit more complicated ... I have to think about the copyright issues and all in case I am offering movies from my site, and then I really need a lot of space ... A movie is really taking a lot of spaces, and I have to think seriously to invest for that ... anyway, I have this idea in my mind and if I see that I can do something like this, I will let u know ...

to allow downloading of movies from ur server, u need to get the rights .. and that costs money ...
same with mp3s.. but lot of sites operate illegally.. however sharing dvds should not be a legal issue...
