Rexians,
1998-2002 was a batch to reckon with. Fortunately I was a part of that.Started with best-of-breed ragging,changed syllabus,3 or more strikes,rampant attack in university,bullshit Bin laden's strike to Dubya's buildings,merciless comparts all around..all consolidated into a provisional BE degree with no placement.That was a generic case for 1998-2002 batch.It was a batch of highest caliber i have ever seen in my tenure in REC. any branch , you will get the best product . But it didn't shine initially ,thanks to economic slowdown and quarintinity of NIT silchar. we fought in hostel for groupism, for elections,rivarly among us was top class, but in work place now we are best friends.That is something 2002 batch is known for.
Finally my best wishes to all ex-rexians , current rexians,my friends.I wish to see my alma mater is shining on campuss, off campuss.Take my wishes.

well said man. Most unfortunate batch in REC.
where are you now?who are you anyway? wish all 98-2002 batchmates will come fwd and share indivisual experience here.

choto bhai ra mon kharap korio na aro batch aslo rec t jaara placement paislo nai, jemon amrar 92-96 batch .We missed out because of transition from gu to au. oboshyo koitee pari na placement e prochur comp ailleu amra kisu e pailam ne na na :-)
and we learnt the hard way out......cheers bhai e ra and best of luck...

what about the 97-2001 batch, jokon laden e US o attack korsil............don't you guys think, this is the most unfortunate batch. Chakri pawar kotha to dur......jarar chakri aasil, tare o putkimara khaisil. |
