HI FRIENDS,
i had a visit to college yesterday & after passing out nearly 2 months back it was quite a nostalgic moment.There were new faces around and old ones too but it was difficult to believe that my friends with whom i spent 4 years were no-more out here.Going down the memory lane i just recollected some of those super friends & some super characters
1.)SUTHIRTHA DASS:Great politician and always seen in his flamboyant style.
2.)HRISHIRAJ:may be call him haywire!!.did take lot of pangaas with chicks
3.)TALUKDAR-ANJAN:-Had a good chemistry between them.everyday in evening they used to go to corner.i tried hard to find what for but couldnot succeed.(could pls someone tell me what for)
4.)NADDA-MOHSIN:-Man.they were good friends.i was myself a fifth hostelier and was always astonished to see the chemistry between them.they were the best at least in our hostel
5.)BISWAS UNCLE:-duniya idhar ki udhar ho jayee lekin biswas 9:30 ko hi soye ga.peculiar character

6.)NILABHU DEY: this 4 hostelier was an ultimate bakchud.beech mein sucide karne nikla tha(know for amrita)

7.)GAURAV GUPTA:- isse dekh ke lagta tha ki yeh bechara hai kaam ke bhooj ka mara.mast with himself

8.)MUDASSAR KHAN & SHASHI SHEKHAR:-UFF!!INCREDIBLE.For me they were the best in the entire college.
(2 bodies 1 soul). i was close to both of them and i could always find in their eyes warmth,affection,&trust for each-other.I(along with my other friends)liked both of them personally for being straight-forward & well mannered.I could find both of them together anywhere be it c-op.Town or elsewhere.I wonder how will they be managing without each other these days.

so friends time to say goodbye
i am leaving silchar today but this place will always have a special place in my heart

it was nice to recollect memories of some friends,but man if u were fifth hostel boarder how could u miss our AKHI(AKHILESH SINGH),who during his last months at college was moving up and down guwhati as if he was going town.(all of u know why?).what an aashiq?

nice article.u 2004 passout (whosoever u r) i think u have gauged all of them nicely.well u seem to have choosen people from fourth and fifth hostel only.i was in GNESIS and didn't had much of contact with most of them,but yeah,knew khan and sashi closely.i too was astonished of chemistry between them.two guys one north indian and other southe ,coming from two distinct cultures and two diff. religious backgrounds and yet holding it together.(Phenomenal)
but i don't think everything was going well between them during last few months.i could smell something fishy.

guys..

nice hear ..u r talking about 5 th hostel...when i was there only upto 4th hostel was there...where is the location of that new 5th hostel?...and also the new ladies hostel...is near to professors quarters/ dispencary...moreover...now also 1 st semester students are located in that bunglow type..hostels???....even i didnt able to see the new administration building and students recreation building./auditorium.. :( :(..u guys seems to be lucky to have everything....i still remember the tea stalls near to 1st and 2nd hostels...one if i am correct...madans tea hut...ooohhh..that hot tea ...omlet...biscuits..at midnight..12.00 during exam time...these tea stalls becomes alive after 11.0 pm..nice days...all past memories... :P :P

Now mr anonymous guy, who the hell r u. u seem to be a very close friend of us. Then man why dont you disclose ur identity. Man i also miss the college very much. I just think that only a few days ago in the college we were like boss and now in the city of bangalore some 3500 km away i am like a very insignifacant being. And above all the gr8 hostel environment.

i am currently in seventh semester and it was nice to recall some of 2004 pass seniors.well ,i believe it was a good topic to be initiated on the friendship day.the names mentioned were truly some of the best friends i have seen in nit during last 3 years.i am in fourth hostel and knew all of them closely.
i miss all of them and am sure they all will be missing the college life.

hi seniors ,
i am currently studying at nit and it was good to see something written about my seniors.i miss u all :( :( :( :(
u all know what type of environ. is there in hostels.i mean locals more close to locals,north-indians more close to north-indians etc.i sometimes think why is it so >:( >:( >:( >:(
Among the names mentioned i believe khan bhaiya and shashi bhaiya were a class apart.after all how many of the seniors were such close friends considering the fact prevalant in our nit.well i know some might argue that they too had harmony with friends of other provinces but let me tell u that only with passage of time u start having good relations with them and that too particularly in final year.(i am experiencing it right now)
i knew both of them from last 3 years and as far as i know they never let the word group in-between them.i was quite fond of both of them.i used to call them husband & wife .i hope if they read this article they will certainly identify me
missing all the 2004 passout seniors.

well i was your batchmate and was in civil branch and from fourth hostel(guess who am i?).well the topic is good and some interesting views. so sashi tell me how is life without khan?must be very boring and i believe the most both of u will be missing is town and making fun of each other.yeah,i would like to know from u that what was the secret of your friendship.does it still hold today?i hope it will be.well ,truly u were the best friends i have ever seen in my life.

you told many nicknames but how can you forget the nicknames "bihari", "chudru" , "madori", "jadav" etc etc all for the same guy who used to stay in a room at third floor of 4th hostel and listened to maximum possible boring songs and irritated all his floormates... my goodness.. i used to stay in the same floor very near to this giy's room and only i know how could i tolerate his "terrible songs"... frankly speaking i miss those days... but hey Mr. hereiam...i can guess who you are.....
and yes kamla... why are you always dying to know others identity....

He is none but Asish Singh Dalit from BIHAR. He has got very unique names, BIHARI, Dalit, Chappra and a lot others. HE is the greatest bewra the world has ever produced and above all he is very irritating. He is a typical representative of the BIHARIS. Well he is now a sw engineer in TAVANT tech. May god help the company from getting bankrupt.

hi frnds its really a pleasure to read the topic yea myself as handle rishi as kamla asish as bihari pandey as the sapera the list goes on n on .....
when we werein rec it was 4 yrs of a lifetime,coz i dont think that anyone of us would be able to live the same life everafter
those late night addas ,those rings of smoke fillin the air in the coeperative ,those arabindos sayin "bhai aar diatm na bahut baki hoi gesse",those dreaded lectures of our beloved teachers of our branches ,n above all those masti in hostels n oviously meetins with my p-fellow hrishi yea it pains really to think that i would not be able to feel the same again but mya kare life goes on n on.....
now sashi -muddu,sudip-anjan the chemistry they had was really mysterious coz they were very good frnds right from the start but after a few days when we heard that bisexualism was legalised in india they were stayin all the more together,i am not inferen anythin just sayin....
n yes our dear rishi was always be there ,sometimes for the hricha factor sometimes for the a brief history of time(hrishi hope yu got it).this guy was very entertainin coz all the time he was doin somethin or the other n maikn his frnds laugh n laugh
n when comes the question of who has given the mail maybe its the person who left silchar last n is nowadays stayin abroad i am not sure but guessin coz he was the only one amon us to leave silchar last.yea if itz jugmug or anyone who has written the mail yea it was just fantastic ,continue in this manner n any frolicer readin this mail keep up the spirit of our hostel n try to do somethin for our hostel dost kabhi hamara hostel best tha aur jab hum log college chor ke ja rahan the it was considrd the hostel without any facilities try to do small thins tro keep our hostel the best hostel

you mentioned a lot about the legalisation of bi sexualism in india and its imeediate effect on gay copules like sashi-mudu, talu-anjan. But u failed to mention one all time great pair. Let me give some formal intro of that pair. It was made of two guys one who is very tall(infact taller then required) and fat(very very fat...waist of 42") ; while the other one is very short and also a naga. Well that pair is none but MOOTA HANDLE SUTIRTHA DAS and his homo partner NAGA HANDLE HIROK DAS. Well handle u and naga also had a great combination. I really appreciated it. But tell me who used to be on the top while u had fun ;) ;D :o ??? :) :) :)
However I still miss the college very much and I also miss my 4th hostel and the 6th hostel. hey I went to PUB world a few days ago and I remembered the things we did last year. Man those were the best days of our life. Yes we can never get back those golden days. BUt YAADEIN YAADEIN, SIRF YAADEIN REH JATE HEIN AUR HUME SATATE HEIN.

let me clarify that i never taught anu junior C in ragging period..and it was not 6 am but 4-30am.. and if u wanna know the exact reason behind it then u better ask that particular junior and he will tell u whose exactly fault was the u can decide thereafter.
regarding being boring.. well, everyone reading this discussion can understand who realy is.. a guy.. sticking on same old questions and comments!!! what else can be boring..
and then i told you last time to leave this irrelevant topic here itself and this forum is not the right place for it.. we wil start a new topic if u cant live without it.. just let us not disturb the relevance of the discussion.. and i repeat the request and i hope at least this time it shud enter ur head..
and yes college days.. i really miss it yar.i just dream that if we 4th hostelers of our batch cud go back to our hostel someday "together" then at least for some hours we can enjoy the same way we did for last 4 years.. but only god knows this will be possible or not.. but of course our hostel life has left an impression on our memories that can never get erased.
wishing al the best to my batchmates struggling for job.. to my juniors for their future and i hope that our hostel is still "alive" as before!!!

That was really a letter full of senti. I also think to go back to the college and have those golden days we had together. Do u remember that what we used to do in our LAN. All sorts of message passing and trying to irritate others. There was always a sense of rivalry between 2nd and 3rd floor. We were the FLOROSENSE guys and u guys also had some name. I think Sutirtha thought of some very hard foreign word for it. God knows from where where the hell he copied it. No matter what may be the case I really enjoyed it. Life as u know in rec was really boring but still we never had enough of time to think that it really was os. And now here inspite of all the ammenities to brighten our life. i feel so bored and lonely here.
I support ur view to visit the college with as many of our batchmates as we can and have some fun. But I believe if we are to do so then we must do that within the time the present 5th sem guys pass out. that should be our deadline. Because after that even if we go it makes no sense. Because these are the guys with whom we are all the very close and man even we love our college and hostel very much, but without any known faces out there we will be again getting frustru. may god help us to achieve this goal.

hi guys,
well hrishi mentioned about his great second floor so i thought why not give some views about it.
2nd floor was really great.in 6th semester i took a room in 2nd floor but at the last moment i went to 3rd floor,and after that whenever going down i always congratulated myself for taking such a good decision and thanked god for saving me from the very torturing people of the 2nd floor.
2nd floor as such was very good but the people who lived there were what to say i am wordless. ???
But the thing they did very bad was they started a trend a very bad trend called as FLOOR SENTI by them and i think they were nuts to do things like that. >:(

great discussion goin on!! well, i also really miss the hostel life. "hiyaar" pointing out correctly abt the people of 2nd floor.
hey, i remember something yaar abt hrishi. he was telling pandey that he is not a boring person, i think thats true, he always tried to entertain others by doin some jokery. 8) i remember his yellow shirt with black pant and white shoes and what a clown 8) he looked like. i think u all will also remember the same. actually the second floor people thought them to be very intellactual lot.
lot more in the next post. well hoping to get some reply from hrishi(he would like to know my identity as usual) :D :D

yea the tone of the thread is goin from hostel life to what people were doin in their floors .now as the floor senti has come in the one of the above stated views ill also like to add some more
in fourth hostel none had these feelin of floor senti but thanx to the famous(infamous)people called fluroscence they thought that they had great understandin among themselves n that they had a huge senti called floor senti but actually they had another thing in common n that was there craze for a girl named pinki initially started by one muradabadi then this virus infected others also n whenever that girl came to second floor it was found that she used to visit all the rooms of second floor n may be give room service to all of them.it was shame for all of us that a girl of such character was allowed to enter hostel premises n most interesting part is they were found once shootin a video of that girl when she was busy makin love with one of the guys of second floor with the college handy cam which we general students were not given citing the reason that the handy cam could be taken by a student only with directors permission.disgustin really disgusting.....................
they shared other common things also such as makin mockery of others makin cartoons of girls of thier branches n puttin those cartoons in cooperative,making manipulations in the hostel mess bill as many of them of were magazne secys n mess secyz.
if one was to summarise the second floor in one sentence they were just nonsense.they never knew how to behave in the hostel how to show respect to girls of their batch ,how to make decent friendship with their batchmates.fluroscece members might think that they had great friendship within rec but it was not frndshp it was those people keepin terms with them so that next time they were not targeted(aaise bhi aal bal logo ke saath panga kaun leta hain sharif logo ko apna izzat bahut pyara hota hain)

Listen all the ass holes of third floor
I know these are the message posted by u guys. Well i do agree that while being in mess i enjoyed a lot. BUT I didnt spend a single pice on my self. And about manipulating the mess bill. i think in my time the food served was the best in the last 4 yrs of our rec life. the problem with u guys is that u know only to criticise. So no point in trying to tell u guys anything. I think u might remember that a lot of times the mess of other hostels were closed but in my mess no such thing happened. so friends i have nothing to say against u.
and so far as the floor is concerned, well i think we had much better relation with others then any of u guys. and the proof is the mass scale win of localites this time in the election. we had all the best relations with almost all the boys of the college. and so far as girls are concerned, thats our view point to behave in that way. u feel like making friendship with girls, u are most welcome to do so. but dont interfere in what we do. See i dont know who u are. May be u r afraid to publish ur name cause that might lead to some of ur past history getting revealed again. its ok
and so far as hostel senti is concerned, well to tell u the fact what others think abt me and my floor is that a few days ago fourth hostel organised a tournament in my and vimal vermas name. so i think that proves to the greates extent how much my senti was towards hostel. Infact the burdens and runnings i have taken for the hostel and for the juniors, i think very few can match that. may be sutirtha has also done the same amount. but i dont know who the bloody hell u r. but if u had mentioned ur name then i would have given u all the explanations for ur misdeeds

hrishi tried to explain a lot of his gr8 deeds for 4th hostel. well, one peculier thing as we all know is hrishi wants to know abt everybody's name coz he cannot post his posts under any other name now. previously he tried so many names that now everyone understands his style of writing, and so he also wants to know others name. ???
well hrishi i tell u something, it is very true that and u shud quite well understand that u people (second floor-ians) didnot know the meaning of frdship. frdhip doesn't mean to win elections my frd. it is lot more than that, and by the way everyone knows how is elections held in hostel and also we know what we (third floor-ians) mean as frds.
secondly, u gave a very good talk abt ur behaviour towards girls, which just speaks very clearly of ur mentality. i don't think any person with a healthy mind will applaud such an idea.
hrishi, i don't think a good person boasts of anything he has done, so even if u have contributed something to the hostel, it was ur duty, and don't say u have done something gr8, coz that will only erode the value or importance of the work(if any).
well, frds it is not very gr8 discussing about these topics but still it is good coz atleast people like hrishi bhatt (who keep on thinking they r very gr8 people) may start think positively abt their negativity.

See atleast dont teach me the funda of friendship. if i have learnt anything in rec , then thats the essence of friendship. i have gone through all the forms of friendship and you also know it better. i dont know who u r, but if u know me well then u will also agree to me. So fars as ur concern regarding my role towards hostel is concerned, well i dont fell it necessary to give any explanation to that, cause i am satisfied with what i have done and so no points in discussing it.
again on the points of girls, well i am the way i am. if u think that my attitude is little bad or worse, then i just cant help it. i said earlier that thats my viewpoint and all the hell of discussions cant change it . By the way I am not a mysoginist. But my point is that most of the girls of our college are scums and nerds. So thats what we wanted to prove in our magazines. I am not a flirt and so obviously some flirts like u might find this attitude of mine bad. Cant help it pal.
But its nice that u are replying to my mails. carry on pal. although u dont have the guts to mention ur name, but atleast u have the time and senti towards rec to spend some time on it. many other guys are so busy for nothing thay they cant even write a few lines here.

i am visiting this page after a gap of time and i discovered that discussion has really taken a long way and a "bad way" too... but even i would also like to say a few things here as i find out some of the things -- particularly mentioned bhy hrishi -- very objectionable.
let me tell you hrishi ....as u said in one of ur postings that "THERE WAS A SENSE OF RIVALRY BETN 2ND AND 3RD FLOOR".. let me tell you that we people (being a 3rd floorian) never felt so.... i strongly object this point of yours and would definitely like to remind you that it was ONLY THE PEOPLE OF 2ND FLOOR WHO STARTED A FLOOR SENTI.... floor senti (although it did exist in smaull quantum earlier) didnt exist in such measure in our hostel except EAGLES. moreover we never treated ourselves as simply the people of third floor... if we had any senti then it was for our respective groups or the hostel... we had senti for each other being "floormates" and that too simply because we had a good understanding and friendship among ourselves (of course there may be a bit of ups and downs at different times, and that happens in a normal life) but as such we NEVER GAVE OUR SENTI OR FRIENDSHIP ANY SORT OF "BRANDNAME". and then we never tried to "compete" with any of the floors of our hostel including urs and so there was never a feeling of "rivalry".
and yes, how can u simply "praise" urself when people talked of "floors".... were u the only one staying at the 2nd floor... if not then please make your answers in general and not in particular.
and yes, i was also staying in 3rd floor... there were people in my floor who i did not like (honestly, those very very very few) and there were people at 2nd floor also whom i didnt like... and as far as i know about my floormates... same was the case with them... there were guys at 2nd floor whom we DID LIKE... in short .... WE DID NOT CLASSIFY OUR SENTI AND FRIENDSHIP ACCORDING TO THE FLOOR NUMBERS. and you must remember that...
and then how could you call us "ass holes".... thats really painful to find out that one of our batchmates are using such objectionable words in an open discussion... kindly avoid that...
and then finally hrishiraj... now we have left our floors, hostel, college, and everything there only... if we have anything then only memories... bitter and sweet both... dont you think it will be a thing of intelligence to leave this "territorial senti" then and there with the other things... now we are simply paased outs of 2004... we are struggling for job... some of them have got success too... let us now celebrate our friends' success and co-operate each other in job hunting... please dont make such posings here which may inadvertently result in bitterness of our relations... these silly things keep no meaning for us... at least at this date... understand my point hrishi..... i agree that u may have got disgusted by some of the postings by 3rd floor people... but whatever is the case ... let us stop this blame game... otherwise it may have really bad results on our relations...hope u understand that...
and i hoped to find out something interesting here when i visited this page after some gap of time... but my hopes were shattered to see the things here..
i request everybody here to stop it.. otherwise i am afraid many people may stop visiting this room coz of that...

i fully support ur views. infact they are mine also. but see i cant tolerate some coward's continuous statements against myself. Just imagine if u were at my position then what would you have done ??? See i started the discussion so that i can feel that i am still close to my college. Well i am also thankful to you guys that finally u guys have also changed ur viewpoint. Actually we all know that we guys of 4th hostel are all very very attacking by nature and cant cant tolerate any foul play. Thats why we all are proud FROLICARS. I think we all should start a new topic of discussion which contains the happenings of 4th hostel , its past, present and future. man i now feel sorry to thin that 4th hostel is under a very bad situation to me. its so bad that now both the A and B mess have been combined together because there aint enough students to run two seperate messes. thats really a painful affair yaar. I think we passed the 4 yrs when 4th hostel was in in its golden periods. in every event guys from this hostel were among the top players. but what has happened now. man we should give a deep thought into this matter.

i just heard that our hostel got a brand new flat screen tv.the old tv is kept in the mess.watching tv while eating this is some fun yaar.
and i also heard that hariff complained about arubindo to warden i do not know why.i think it might be for selling cigrettes.
and he also complained about pinki coming to our hostel(kamla does it ring some bells ) and i think this is some good work he has done in his whole life.

You have really given a very bad news that Harifda has complained against Aurobindo. Well harif has always been a chutiya person and i think none has faced his chutiapa better than me. Well i think the erason has been that the new warden has not been aware of aurobindo. Well so what has happened. has he been kicked out of the hostel. The students will only suffer.

well the point u made abt my attitude towards girls, let me tell u that this is the attitude of a normal healthy person, and if u want to call me names for that never did i cared nor do i care now.

See to be very honest in my previous mail I didnt mention your name a single time, but just gave a little hints of who could be the guy who has been saying all the things by keeping himself in the dark. It is a fact that i was doubting you to be the person behind all this, as I know your nature quite well. So I put forward this provocative mail in the hope that you will read it and respond to it. And frankly speaking you have responded in exactly the same way that I expected.
To deal with guys like you I have no other option to take the help of a little PANCHAYATI and after all being a student of 4th hostel, you can expect a little of that from me. ;D

But since you are still in a very attacking mood against me, I must make certain points very clear. You have been mentioning all along that all this has been started by me. Well if you have the time to go through all the posts in this topic, the you will find that we were having a very nice discussion out here and someone started to say things against me. I REPEAT AGAIN ( as RG says) SOMEONE STARTED TO PLAY FOUL. And see I am not a coward so I had no other choice but to counter his attacks. And if you are giving so much funda then didnt u have the guts to give ur real name in the earlier posts of yours. And see you better dont give me any funda about friendship and jotel senti. Because you also know all the facts. So just for the sake of argument dont please put forward any logic.

Now so far as yourself being a healthy male is concerned by your great affinity towards flirting in general and girls in particular; see friend we have left behind our REC days and so I dont want to excavate back all the things that have been buried in the past.
