what do u feel about
1. a match with a kelu groom and a sylheti girl or vice-versa..... will it be "and they lived happily ever after.."
2. sylheti's moving to kelu city (calcutta) from NorthEast... r they better of there than what they were b4 moving to cal.

I think when a kelu guy marries a sylheti girl he has won a treasure for himself and his family.Because usually sylheti girls are beautiful, intelligent and very adjusting unlike kelu girls specially those from Kolkata. |

hey thanks im gonna take that as a compliment, i dont c why a kelu and a sylheti cant marry, if they love one another then it should be fine, im not saying that i would marry a kelu, but i dont have problems with them. |

The bond can be both very strong or fargile depends on the match....U just have to find right match. One of my friend stated that Sylheti gals are beutiful and intelligent but its not the case with majority. I am not sure about the outlook of these so called beauty queens. |

Hello,all, actually i have been reading through all the post and couldn't help myself from writing. This is a sort of faith in our society that sylethi will not match with kelu, but we all are forgetting onething, haather panch angul shoman nai. The main thing is understanding, if two persons have mutual understanding I guess there will be the end of all problems. Yes, it is correct that the culture of sylethis and kelu differ to some extent but that should not be taken as each other's loophole. Marriage is such a bond which should be always based on faith and undestanding. My views may contardict with some people but that is what I feel and this is the right given to us by our constitution .............Freedom of Speech. |
