Well that Goutam Chatterjee ,the man behind Mohiner Ghoraguli ,was one bundle of energy.Sort of pioneered the Bangla Rock movement way back in the seventies and was like a father-figure for the current bands like Krosswindz,Cactus or Parashpather.His philosophy was gr8."Music is life".Sad that he's no more and even more that he died while on a musical tour to Assam(Dhubri ???).
Listen to the album "Abar bochor kudi pore"-Par Excellence!!! :)

aajkal someplace else e fata fati kichu concert hor...krosswindz is on a south india tour though...check if they are coming to your city....to tell you the truth bangala band shuna chari disi..ou concert hoile jai ar kita....tape jeta asil ita shob silchar jaibar por lut hoi gese :D :D.....current band ita kunota pushaise na..bangla invariably with an american accent..even though the instruments are very good in most cases,the vocals let them down.......there are some i like though,fossils for one..although i hear their drummer is going away somewhere.... |
