I am working for a Software offshore project development company named Vigorsoft located at Baroda - Gujarat. Infact from 1st April 2005 it will merged with InteQ Corporation located at Bedford - US.
My Company is looking for Java Software Engg's, QA-Testers and Network Engg. - mainly for Level-2 support at Baroda.

Desired - B.Tech, B.E (Comp science/engineering, IT) Minimum – MCA with science graduation
2-5 years in medium size team (5-10 persons team)
J2SE - core Java, threading, Java beans, JDBC
J2EE - JSP/Servlets, Struts, Tag Libraries, JNDI, JMAPI, JMS, JTS, JTA
Java Extensions - OR mapping - castor, hibernate, JDO, JAAS, JMX
Java Application Servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, jRun, jBoss
J2EE web containers - Servlet Exec, Apache Tomcat
Middle ware - CORBA, SOAP, Web services, RMI/JNI
Web Programming - DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, PHP
Object oriented skills - OO in practice, UML, Modeling tools like Rational Rose
Object Oriented Analysis - Analysis models, use case realization, architectural descriptions
Object oriented Design - Design patterns, heuristics, principles, design model, architectural vision, systems integration
Basic database programming skills, SQL queries, data models
Version Control Systems - VSS, CVS, PVCS
Testing tools - jUnit
Build Scripts - ANT
Logging utilities - Log4J
For QA-Testers

Test case preparations based on business functionality, workflow and User Interface
Defect reporting tools - Test Director, PVCS
Web Programming awareness - DHTML, JavaScript, XML, JSP, PHP
Database Skills - SQL Queries, data structures/models
Object oriented concepts, UML, Modeling tools
SDLC and Rational Unified Processes and QA processes,
CMM and ISO systems and documentation
Quality assurance and System testing of web based applications
Preparing test plans, scripts and test cases for functionality, GUI and performance testing
User Interface and Business requirement analysis
Testing methodologies and test plan formulation
Reviewing testing methods and developing automated scripts
Defect tracking tools usage
Strong communication, pleasing personality
Problem solving skills and a team player
