Sudip Roy ,29 Ex collageite , GC Collage, Assam University student, presently posted in USA for IBM has been found Died in United States.It's not not clear how the incident has hapned , his body found death in a Swimming Poll .
May his Soul Rest in Peace!

Drowning Victim Identified
June 14, 2004
Overland Park police have identified the man who drowned Friday night at the Pebble-Brook apartments, as 29-year-old Roy Sudip of Calcutta, India.
Two people pulled Sudip from the water and performed CPR, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Apartment management would not comment on Sudip's death.
Sudip worked at Sprint.

OVERLAND PARK
Victim identified
Overland Park police on Monday identified the man who drowned at an apartment complex pool Friday night as Roy Sudip, 29, of Overland Park.
Sudip was a resident of the apartment complex, located in the 7700 block of West 95th Street, Overland Park Officer Jim Weaver said.
A resident at the complex found Sudip face down at the bottom of the pool about 8:20 p.m. Police think he had been dead for some time.
An autopsy was performed over the weekend. There was no indication of a crime, Weaver said.

I just came to know of this from a friend ... very sad news .. we were together in GC College and spent quite sometime playing cricket !! May his soul rest in peace. |

the memory 's are still fresh to me , 3 months b4 i met him at kolkata b4 he left for states! he was such a nice guy ! still i m reading the mail , he sent me on 14 th june .
I heard his Deathbody is reaching to Kolkata on coming friday(25/06/2004) via new york - london-kolkata for final rites.

This is the second accident that has happened with 1997 passed out batch of G C College, Statistics Dept...almost an year back one more guy called 'TILAK' died in Delhi from the same batch.....I really don't have any word to consolate also...... |

I am Confused ..how come a person died in a swimming poll if he know swim well ...
is there any thing behind that States Govt/US police are hiding to save their skin ? what US govt would react if same things happen with an American in India ?
is any indian life is less importent than an american ? and above all late Sudip Roy went to USA for IBM , my qstn is what IBM india taking action against this incident?
I am quite shoked that indian media are also not focusing on this issue!
heck ! after 15 days of incident his death body have not arrived yet to india for final rites! why its taking long time ? |

krishanu, I am far away from india i am in Australia and from here what i can do i wish i can do something .
one thing i can suggest if you or any guy have contact with indian media i mean media like Aajtak, zee news , star news, DD news , telegraph , anandabazar, times of india , sonar cachar etc then he /she can inform them either by email or phone about the incident and request them to flash the news and create a pressure to the United Staes consulate .
I am ready to mail media if some one let me know the email id ...

the incident happned on 11 th june
the concern department said the death body will send to India on 16 th after autopsy report
but on 16th his deathbody hv nt arrived
again they given a date 22 june again 25 th now they are saying it will reach on 28 th .
guyz can you imagine the things how its going pethaticaly day by days ? a death body is taking more than 15 days to reach her home town ! |
