Silchar is my soul

Afetr this ardous travails for over three years now in the nothern belt of India, I have had immense experiences with humans, their behaviour, lifestyle etc. Nothing could ever come close to my home town Silchar.
My heart dwells on a poetry --
Rivers are abundant here and there
full of water crystal clear;
have you ever seen a touching one
like the river barak dear;
The wind blows to touch my heart,
the sun shines like a pleasing lark;
such is the pleasure of my land,
that the world seems a moor dear;

of G.C.college.
Silchar bara bhala,G.C.college, Debdoot,Oriental aar
Fatak bazar-ar galli jenou ji na kene hakal baidiu suna jai
khali Ranga Rasar Gof.Ek bar je silchar-or madhu pailese
he aar bhulto nai silchar-re.
REC,SMC,AUS--hakal jegaru puain aain G.C.clubo maaia
patanir lagi aar maiao poti jai taralagi,aar G.c.college-0r puaintor lage karain khali friendship.
Bhagabanor kashe railo ek-khan prathana silchar-0r
Adda-t thaki jeno banchit na hoi.-----Sukhe Thako |

I also like Silchar Very much. Aadar kotha charia dile O I cannot forget Silcher because of the simple lifestyle that U can only enjoy in that part of Our the Country, One more thing is the simplicity of mind of common people. Always helping nature "Nigor kaam charia O onnyo re sayajyo korar probriti ota Cacharor manushor kache khub beshi dekha jay". In Other part of the country U willn't find hardly the same natured people.Every where everyboddy is very busy only nothing but to earn money.. money Only Money. I have travelled most of the major cities within our Country but it is very difficult to manage specially when U R in the southern part of the country, at some point of time U will feel yourself as guilty when U R in that part. Comparing all these things I can say Silchar is having a havenly atmosphere though there is some scarcity of jobs. I will say those sre the Lucky ones who had got engaged (jobs) in the Town Silchar. We are only quenching our thurst by the using the media on Internet gossiping. Cholo ita O toh ekta bachar style...

Thanks for your comlements.Also lots of thanks to
MAHAADDA team for introducing the adda in internet.For
peaple like us, staying outside Barak Vaiiy ,the maha adda is a
very usefull mediam to share feelings with Silchari friends,in
sylathi.

Yes This Mahaadda Is a very useful Communication Channels for all the Silcharites those who R staying Outside. These days I am in Pune. Thanks for reminding the Makar sankrani Festival, The festival Of Oil Cakes (pitha). Honestly Boss I have forgotten the taste of Pithas Since last 5 years I am out of my native place. Hardly 2 times I went there in Durga puja. Thanks for giving the feeling of Virtual pitha...

But I must say 90% silchari are itar, namak haram .soitaner haddi..neta thika paanwala, maas wala thika riksa wala sob beta motlobi ....aar aatel lar kotha koyee toh kono labh nai..jaara nejerey buddhiman money korey oi group toh ek nomborer itar.maa , boin re izzat detey 90% e janey na ...acid mara , maiyaa re dhorson kora sob Barak nodi chup chap dekheya jaar.
kobey je aamar praner silcharer manosh bhadro hoibo...abhadro hokoler moti goti kobey je hoibo...kobey je aami bhadra somajey thaktey parmo ..silcharey aar bachtey iccha korey na ..aamr moron je kobey hoibo...

Are you quite sure? I don't think you have travelled far enough brother! You need some modification on your poem when you talk about the barak river and the sun? The sun isn't so pleasing i can bet u! |

Dear silcharities,
I am Arindam Bose presently settled at Baroda - Gujarat. Lot of Silcharities are settled here and are working with SBI, ICICI, HDFC. L&T.
But its always remeber me of the song "Country road take me Home" and that's is Silchar. My Best Wishes are with you all the people for keeping this website alive. Keep talking what's new things are coming up at Silchar specially G C College, Hotel Borail View (Mr. Parag Ghosh or nicknamed Kutu-da), Chandighat Tea Estate (Atanu Ghosh or nicknamed Titan), Food Corporation of India - Pinaki Ghosh(Asst. Mgr.) and lot's of people but to mentioned a few.
