Remember Pradip da?

Guys...
remember our very own [b]Pradip Da[/b]. I know you all do. After all he is the best thing ever happend to REC Silchar.
Sometimes, I wonder, did I say enough thank you to Pradip Da. The way he loved and helped the students of REC is really great. The only person we could trust in the Admin building was that ever smiling face of Pradip da. The best part is, he never expected anything in return from us. His effection was 100% Self Less. Sometime he even took blame on himself to save REC Student.
So I was wondering....shouldn't we do something for Pradip Da, just to tell him that we still remember him and care for him. I believe getting back to him with a souvenir will mean a lot to him.

Hi to All,
I should give special thnks to Kankan for starting this topic...Pradipda is such a person u will never forget in your life ....in my 4 yrs in college from 1st semester onwards whenever i faced any problem i used to go to him and he had some suggestion for all your problems...something really incrediable...there are 2 instances which i will never forget ..
1. The day when our final results was declared ...i went to college and tried to find out final percentage...but i went here and there to ganguly sir also who was the dean ...but no one is willing to tell at tht moment just i was thinking wht to do ...then all of a sudden in my mind came the name of Pradipda ...i went to him and told him Pradipda amar percentage jante lage...he told me to give my scholar and my phone no. believe me or not he called at my home and told me u got this percentage within 1 hr. ... i was little surprised tht to know my percentage ..i also told him r u sure???
2. After leaving college for around 4 years ..last year i was in urgent need of Final Certificate for some purpose ..i was not in silchar at tht time ...i need it badly ...then i somehow find out the number of pradipda and called him believe me or not ...he managed the certificate within 2 days when i told him the reason for which i need it so urgently and send me ...
May be in our hectic days we don't think of anyone except of us ...but i would say this much Pardipda is one of my idol...

So true......................he was such a gem......................I wonder if he is still in our college..........................the greatest quality abt this person is that he is very much a selfless character.......................He helps the students in whatever possible ways he can and does not expect anything in return........................if he leaves our college, it will be a tremendous loss for the present students of NIT........................ |

really a nice topic started by you....amra protyek jon i prodipdar kase kunu na kunu bhabe kritoggo...aami je koto bar giya pradipda re jalaisi koiya luv nai...khali nijer liga na...pass korar pore bondhurar ligao douwraiya gesi aar pradipday o hasi mukhe koriya dise..i remember once I had a conversation with pradeep da...he was saying "tumra jerokom taka khorcha koriya engineering porray aami aamar chele re to ila poraitam partam nay...itar liga science oi ditam na.." that day i really felt for that eversmilling,everhelpful man...last aamar mono pore aami ikhan thika(silcharer baire) ratre 7 tar shomoy phone korsilam ekjon senior er certificate er liga...you wont believe pradeepda somehow managed to get that...thanks to pradeepda aamrar shei senior er onsite jawar problem ta kati gese....i guess i still have his number....aami pradeepda re obsyoi janaimu je tar eto diner kosto britha gese na....the REXIANS still remember theri ever helping natured Pradeep da
I think for him this will be the greatest satisfaction.... |

I have been to silchar few days back.. i met pradeep da and told him about this thread..i thanked him on behalf of our fellow rexians and rexinees for his help....he was very happy to leard that the students of REC still remeber him even after passing out of the college..

Well, I'm not from REC ... sorry for intruding in this way, but the topic is quite nice and shows that not everybody is like 'Raat gayi - baat gayi' type. Remembering somebody in this way and wanting to help him is indeed a great attitude. Bravo to Kankan for starting such a topic.

Well, yeah Who can forget the god old venerable Pradip da. He indeed is very helpful and always tries to go beyond his call for duty. I still remember the day when I called him at 11:00 PM (IST), and spoke to hom about my degree problem and he with out any complain, promised to sort out the matter ASAP and he actually did.

Ya.........., this guy is a gem of a person. I still remember, when I went to him (almost every semester) after the scheduled date for filling of exam forms, he never said no. Instead, he took the responsibility, so that I can sit in my semester exams................very helpful.............

Who, from NIT, Silchar, can ever forget our very own Pradipda?
For me at least he was a real life hero. He may not have those "pompous-phrase" degrees added after his small name but he was a real human being in the land of the beasts. The real essence of gentle-man-hood can be learnt from this man. He is all about the good things of life. Really he is one of those very few people who gets respect not for his post but for the good and benevolent deeds and the good soul inside him.
Pradipda will always dwell in the hearts of many of the REXIANS. :) |
