Regional Engineering College,Silchar get-together

Hi All,
Its been a long time we left college,but the memories are still in their adolescent stage........
To ruminate those faded memories of college days,we request all the REXIANs of REC,Silchar to come forward to share the joy with all batchmates,seniors and juniors.....
We the REXIANS are going to organize a get-together very soon.So,it would be very much appreciated if all the people come forward to give this initiative a great success.
On the behalf of REGIONAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE ,SILCHAR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION we request all the REXIANS to donate some funds.
As per the meetings conducted in various places,we came to a conclusion after discussing the issue with many seniors,batchmates and juniors that all the earning people would be liable to pay 500 per head and all the REXIANS who are new to this place should pay 300 per head to anyone of the following:

2) Tridip Nandi (Tridip_nandy@infosys.com)
3) Prithwiraj Shome.(rexprith@yahoo.com)
Regarding the transparency of funds,venue of get-togather; each and every details would be intimated to everyone through mail.
N.B: Some issues need to be discussed on the day of get-togather,so we request to all the seniors,batchmates and juniors to be present on that day.
WE SHARE ,WE CARE,WE DARE..............and that makes the REXIANS .

I feel this time its going to happen!!
Few markers -
1. We should not collect anything from the people who are yet to find a suitable job.
2. Try to keep the location within the city limits; otherwise transport will be a pain. Suggestions are most welcome!

Cooooooool man.... u B'lore people really know how to relish life. Why don't we, Rexians of Delhi, do something to arrange a get together. I believe we are quite a good number although not as many as in B'lore.
What say man.......should we ? |

There are two Biswajit in this forum. The way of your approach (I dont know what does it mean when u put 'da' in Bracket, Anyway..) seems that you are one of "our" college junior. Well I(Acharjee) have a very poor memory and didn't find any one called Ratna G known to me. Any way u r alwayes welcome as my college junior. 8) |

hey, great going Biswajit-s (and i mean both Das and Acharjee). They are room-mates only so it makes no difference for me at least :) But they do have cute nick-names, I wonder why they don't reveal them here!! C'mon you two, be sport..
I wish I could be there with you guys for this wonderful initiative, but will contribute and participate whole-heartedly once i get back to Bangalore.
As for the Delhites who wants to join such get-together, you should be knowing there is an equivalent events going in and around Delhi since last 4/5 months. See the page "Alumni Get-together" by Priyaranjan Jha. It doesn't matter whether its Delhi or Bangalore, we ex-Rexians should always show the spirit of togetherness.
Anyways, great going and all the best for the good cause. Let me know if I can be of any help.
