REC Silchar is no more what it used to be.

Hi to all my friends ( 2004 pass out ) and my seniors,
A few days ago I went to our beloved college. I passed out one year back and for the last one year I was so much eager to visit the college. So after one long year I was able to go to that place. But man I was really shocked to see the changes that have taken place in this period. I do admit that all the previous passed out seniors would have said the same about the college when they visited the college after passing out. But I believe that atleast till 2004 the college used to have some glory of the past. eg. in every food fest or cultural program, the ending used to be with a big fight, the students used to possess a lot of enthusiasm ( inspite of the poor campussing ), attack to the GH during DIWALI, passing various comments on the girls in the co-operative region etc. etc. And now if you go to the college, the first thing you will notice is that the co-operative region is so blank. No one sits there any more. But in our time it used to be a wonderful place and the girls used to be afraid to go to that place.
Yes the students this time did go to th GH during DIWALI, but they were chased back to their respective hostels by a few girls. Just imagine the girls of REC Silchar chased back the boys. What a scene. Now if any panga takes place, the students go and complain to the college authority directly. WOW they are all so courageous people. They dont have the guts to solve their own problem.
But this time the campussing in REC Silchar has been the best. More than 70% students got jobs in campus. May be they have now become much more career conscious.
But I still miss the college that we used to have in our times. It was so happening and always full of energy.
