Hi all,
This is an awareness mail for all the genuine job searchers.
An investigation was carried out as a follow up of a case in which two guys from NIT (previously REC), Silchar, Assam, were thrown out of a reputed mobile company in Bangalore for producing fake marksheets and degrees. It has come to our notice that 80% of the guys, who are working or are still searching for jobs in Bangalore, from the said college, are fake candidates, who have forged their marks, branch, years of passing, fake experiences and even fake degrees. The companies without proper verification or authentication are recruiting such frauds on the assumption that they are from RECs. There are fake marksheet rackets cropping up in Bangalore, and some operate from the residence of the frauds itself. For those applying as fresh candidates, they just increase their marks or forge their marksheets, prepare a bogus marksheet and sit for the interview. For those applying as experienced candidates , they just get an experienced certificate from fake companies (names to be disclosed to appropiate authorities) by paying a handsome amount, and get through the interviews. Obviously, the companies give them preference over other candidates, thinking them to be from an REC. If getting a job is such a child's play, then there seems to be no value for a BE, MBA or for that matter any degree.
It is high time, local Bangaloreans and genuine candidates, prevent NIT, Silchar, guys from appearing in any walk-ins or interviews. We have gathered the mark cards of 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 passed outs of NIT, Silchar from the college, and will soon forward to all concerned companies and legal authorities. We are in the process of making all the IT companies aware of the illegal activities carried out by NIT, Silchar guys in Bangalore.The matter has reached alarming proportions after the 2004 batch from the college reached Bangalore.
It is a shame that g uys from a distant place is polluting the healthy competitive atmosphere of the IT HUB, Bangalore. Are opportunities created for such illegal activities? It is time the government, police and media should investigate from their side also. We are in the process of identifying and compiling the names, residential address, company address, friends etc.of all such frauds, who are either working or are still looking out for jobs in Bangalore.We will disclose them through group mails, media and legal authorities once the investigation is over.

NO need to worry.They can't do anything those who are genuine. This kind of things are happening in each and evry college.
So, i personally feel let them do this.

let them carry the ou the investigation.......I don't think writings by some tom, dick or harry will cause any harm to the repute of REC/NIT Silchar.....however the allegation of certificate from false companies...it is true, I have heard from a friend that in Bangalore, you get experience certificates from companies by paying a price......a company is not too difficult to open....they maintain a phone for answering and maintain a list of registered clients...whenever any enquiry call comes they respond....I have even heard that these operations are run by guys from good companies like infy ,hp, ibm etc....and many are aware of these operations....but it is the first time the name of our college has been dragged..........
and regrding the crap of kannadi s,they are good for nothing and already there are host of engineering colleges and medical colleges in karnataka where exams are passed with money..they should look at their own infrastructure which is root of all corruptions |

I feel sorry for this. My apologies for students of NIT silchar.
Please stop it here and get back to work. Such things sometimes
happen inspite of moderating mails.
Many things happen in group, Please don't believe everything. This
group contains many types of members. We cannot expect all to be
alike. Please dont worry about that! Dont spoil your mood.
Get back to job search. You have good future. The industry's BOOM is
very good. Hundreds of people are getting jobs every day. Why do you
want to spoil your mood for some stupid allegation.
I have removed the posting rights of Sanjay. He can no more post from
that mailid. Even if he tries to post in the future, we shall take
care to our best. Dont get deviated. Come back!
I request all members to follow certain ethics in life. This group as
I believe consists of mainly S/W engineers who are considered to be
professionals.
S/W people are respected because of their ethics. Please dont spoil
the image of S/W professionals.
Please dont use these groups for abusing any one! Use it properly!
Because of one guy's mistake, the whole group will be blamed. So I
request all of you to maintain ethics while communicating with other
group members.
Please donot assume somethings and post such matter unless it is
officially announced in some media.
It is not a problem even if you dont tell others about such issues
but it is ridiculous to blame all.
NO MORE FIGHTING HERE! EXPECTING YOUR CO-OPERATION!
THE NEXT TIME I SEE SUCH A MAIL, U WILL BE BANNED!
