Present State of Silchar Govt Boys School

Few months ago there was an appeal in Silchar.com urging the netizens to send contribution towards restructuring of the age old Govt Boys School. I'll bring forward some points regarding the school for your info.
A huge sum of money was collected from ex-students and well wishers of the school. But there seems to be no dev. works and one's doubt is justified that the money has been pocketed by the committee members. If you visit the school,where most of our fathers studied, the school is really in bad shape in truest meaning of the word. The teaching stuff is more than satisfied with the present state, since an improvemwnt means they would lose their unofficial holidays. Hardly there is any regular class , there is no boundary walls....list is long.
The once Premier institute is really in bad state, It can not register a first division in HSLC now a days!
