I have a problem and this is a personal problem and all your suggestion would be of great help to me. My girlfriend is accusing me of certain things which I haven't done. She did this because she believed someone who never wanted our relation to work out. And now she is not talking to me. What do I do to get her back because I am crazy about her and cannot live. I really don't know what to do.
Plz help me out. I am in real distress. |

Mr Lover Bond!! Its bad...what I would suggest you if you really think you have 007 quality then let your brain rule your heart for a while and think what actually went wrong.
If you know yourself and you girlfriend(less probable) then decide upon the points you never agreed and try to work on it. Chalk out a plan.

Mon amar sounds like a good counselor but am still stuck in [b]chalking out a plan[/b] for the last threee yrs and still working hard on it ;D

Keats, I think the main problem here is that we men and women think differently and even speak in different languages. What I mean is that by a same sentence, a man and an woman can mean totally different things making it tougher to understand each other often ... hence if they tell that we don't understand them, they are not totally wrong.
To give u an example, the pronounciation 'Goo' means 'taste' in french, and u know what does it mean in Sylheti. Man and woman speak often in this way. Infact, unlike men, women often have a deeper and different meaning then what they tells.
A simple sentence like 'Why don't u never listen to me ?' may mean 'Why r u looking at the TV when I am speaking to u' or 'I want u give more importance to what I tell u', etc ... well, I'm not an expert, but u can read books like Juhn Gray &/or Alan Pease & Barbara Pease series, etc.
I think a nice example is - more a man feel himself closer to somebody or a group, louder he laugh, when he needs to. For the women, it is the contrary. |

The main thing is that none of you have understood my problem. well let me open up things for you people so that you can suggest me something this time peoperly. If I wasen't serious about her then would have asked you people for your suggestion ? The thing is that we were really serious about each other but the thing is that her parents had fixed up her marraige with someone else coz they didn't know about us going around. After that she fought back against her family and told them about me. After this she thought that I was two timing her but that is cleared off but she thinks that she is not able to trust me and so if she cannot trust me to that extent where a girl should trust the guy whom she wants to marry, then there is no margin for marrying. Anywayz she has at the moment accepted being my friend but the main thing is that we were never friends. But now when we are talking to each other, though we speak like friends but still there is a lot of concern for each other and she dors not hesitate to call me even at 3o' colck at night if she has any problem. |

Lover-boy er problem is more samajik and less love-ajik. I think the best solution of this problem is to speak to the girls parents ... u can take the help of ur parents, or some elderly relative or familly friend, who can contact girls party with a marriage proposition ... as it happens in India in case of arranged mariages ... I can't see any other better solution.
And yes, in case u can't manage to marry her ... please please don't disturb the mariage ... for God's sake ... |

You people are not able to suggest me anything clearly. Well her parents are aware of me and they have met me also and even my family is aware of her. We are from two different communities. I am Bengali and she is Punjabi. But both the families are ok with it but now we have had a lot of misunderstandings between us and at the moment we are just coming out of the misunderstandings and we are talking very cooly and trying to understand each other coz I had proposed to her over phone and she accepted my proposal over phone itself and then we met each other. Plz help me out now. |

hey lover boy, the problem is that u cant understand the solutions provided to u. look pal, marriage is a compromise. its based on mutual trust, respect, understanding and adjustments. if any of the elements are missing, then it wont be a marriage, it will be titanic disaster.
in ur case, ur better half has lost trust on u even before the marriage. can u imagine what will happen afterwards?
in any case, u seem to be adamant to get married to this gal of urs, instead of paying heed to any good piece of advice. so i wud recommend to premasish to open a distress counselling corner in silchar.com. i am 100% confident that we will see more messages from u on these lines. |
