We went to see "Parineeta" last week, with great enthusiasm.  What a disappointment.  Parineetar - par kati geche.

The main characters portrayed nothing Bengali in them.  A token Durga Puja does not portray classic Bengali culture.  It just didn't live upto my expectations.  From the dialogues to music to lyrics to acting all were too predictable.  Just another "Wuthering Heights".

What do you think bros/sis?
