I just started the new website .. http://www.nriweb.com which is a superfast news website much better than samachar ... you can customize your news at http://my.nriweb.com .
Do visit the site and send me your feedback ... the site is not yet advertised and so your feedback and suggestions will be valuable.

it crawls and gets news from the top 12-14 news website every few hours. So like samachar, you get all the news headlines on one single page.

Was just pulling your legs. Bhabsilaam tumar confused bhia or lakhaan bokhi jaibai..... anyway.... bhala site ....good for instant news.... tell me something...... you once posted a mess that a new engineering college is coming up in Silchar. Is it true ?

now i got why u said that it just links to news website ... well theres was a bug in my script and sometimes it just shows just the newspaper links (eg rediff and not the 5 news headlines from redif)...
Well u were right ... :) a site with just links is dumb ...
Now u will see a fully customisable news website with top headlines from all major news websites ...

I think its really an interesting job don frm Admin. Worth looking for. I will certainly log into it. Though perhaps, I dont fall onto the category it's meant for. Am not an NRI. |

next update will be with this feature:
users get to choose the news items they want to see.. so they choose and click and I show them a slide show style news listing..
let me know if you have any interesting utility we can work on ...
