New Engg college in Silchar needs Profs, Principal

A new engineering college is coming up in Silchar in the coming 3 months and it requires the following :
1) Principal and HOD of Computer Sc.
Atleast 10 years exp as a professor in a reputable college.
2) Proffessor and Asst Proff for CS and ECE .
Must be a BE from an REC or a reputed Engg. college. Must have sound knowledge of computer principles. Atleast 50% marks in the graduate course.
Located in main part of silchar, as this is a new venture, this is a great opportunity for you to expand your career and move up the ladder ....

faculty in NIT

HI GUYS..
I was student of this institute 20 years back...how about the faculty condition of the institute now ...can anybody recently passed out comment on it?...our time it was really bad.....no competetive type lectures or professors in general...except very few...all we depend on visting professors..( many of them from IIT kharagpur made REC as money gaining institute as visting proff)..just one entire semester will be over within a week...especially in mech.. professors like Acharya ( HOD)..., kalyan ( material science)...were remarkable..rest all hopeless..one design proff( i forgot his name )...one mr. pandey ( it seems now also he is there with Phd...how he has that!!!!!!!)...and many of these guys spoiling the reputation of the institute.....these guys makes the student as if u r studying in Bsc....really un forgettable characters..who spoils the students career....some of the local guys try to become a faculty member...ther wer lot of these type our time..!!!!!!..because for them its a safest job in their native town.....there supposed to have interchange of faculty among REC ...to improve the quality of education..( originally when REC was established by Govt..there was aplan like this.....but some how it was not implemented)...
i request all the faculty members in NIT ...be uptodate in your field...make a good student interaction...get training in good institution....or industry...and create some good qualty..output...in some premium institutes..when a professor takes a class...even other faculty member also attend that...this shows the level of knowledge..and how it get transferred...to others...to learn new thing u dont need to be a student...
i remeber...some of the professors ..take.. 2 class tests+ 2 assignment...and 5-6 hours classes of theory...then bye bye to that semester...we were also happy.. by that attitude... what we felt was ..instead of sitting with that stupid gadhhas class better to study ourselves...!!!!
ther need to be some audting from the govt.side reagrding the quality of the faculty...
hope may be totally different scenario... now in NIT...i may be wrong...really sorry if i am wrong..
