i miss the phata baasher chipat and all other natak..remember our team headed by bacchu..he was a college senior in rec bhopal.

btw, i reaced this website by typing shillong. as for sylleti, it was a part of our life during those years even if u dint have ancestral roots in syllet...now i have relatives from syllet..so no worries:)))

Hi everyone,

This is Dana from 17 / Type III ..... i was born in Lanton bosti .... then we moved to our own house in Dhankheti .... returned back to Qr in 1991 .... i am a student os St Edmunds .... 1991 ICSE ... 93 PuSc ... then REC Silchar ... now working for TCS .... currently in Edinburgh .....

Mamtu ... i sure remember you ... how are u man ... it has been a long long time since we met ..... so hoz life back in Dubai .... have u married or are u still single ?

I have heard that Gopuda has moved to Guwahati ... is it true ? Any other news from AG Qr ? I hear that the old charm of Qr does not exist anymore ... most of the oldtimers have left ... and Nepalais .. garos and khasis have taken their place .... i had been there 2 years back ... met Babunda, Pero & Sandipanda ...

great to hear from you and good to get an update of ag qtr. we left for good there way back in 93..so its been a while..my brother visited ag colony including babunda and sandiponda ...a couple of years back. it seems tripura castle [ in risha colony ] is now a hotel and i would defintely wish to stay there if i were to visit shillong sometime in the future..

yes, i am married to nibedita from kolkata for last 2.5 years now and its about 5 years in dubai. I went to edinborough a couple of years back..its a lovely place..my friend soumya datta roy and his family stays there. he works for scottish life insurance....we went to the highlands and i was also introdcued to the lovely single malts:)) 15/16 years old..i bought a few back here as souvenirs..

how about you...did u get married? .u must fly back to india via dubai..its a good place to stop by during winter..summers are pretty warm: if 49c is modest..:)). get in touch on my email id..

i miss ag quarter quite a lot..lanton bosti reminds me of the cricket matches we used to have near sunil=er dukan..when i was in 6th or 7th standard...shintu, mriganka mouli..

how is partho rakshit and bubun? they were ur batch or juniors? what about sumon,manna da, dali bhati, ayon..any news..? r u in touch..

Parth (read Partho Rakshit) is working with Peerless hospital in Calcutta.

Bubun is an eyespecialist in silchar medical college. I have heard that he is now a happily married man.
