Messages that have more chances of getting deleted

Messages that have more chances of getting deleted are:
1) Messages containing objectionable or obscene words/matter.
2) Messages which are off topic.
3) Messages posted by the same user under multiple names. More so, if posted under the same thread.
4) Message posted as advertisement/spam for business/ services/referal links. Postings for non-profit organisations/services are allowed.
5) Messages which are old and out of date now (eg. world cup 2003 topics).
6) Messages revealing personal details of a person or discussing any particular person who is not a public figure in silchars context.
Phew .. quite a long list :)
Do mail me (admin) if you come across any such message or just click on the "click here to report any abuse on this page!!" link on the top of the page. On doing so from the page on which the message is present will mail me with the mesage topic.
Lets think of innovative and interesting topics and keep enjoying what the Mahaadda has to offer.

If you find your messages getting deleted because of the above reasons, pls refrain from posting such messages.
If you are found to be posting such messages for a few times, your entry will be cancelled.
As for the multiple names are concerned, I have detailed logs and mechanism in place. Leave that to me :) |

I think we need to have a discussion on etiquette of posting in Mahaadda. I applaud your proposal to keep Mahaadda clean. It is a home away from home for some of us. |
