Theek aachey etai amar ekta tumrar Silchar er ghotona mono pori gelo.
Amar ek hostel mate, one year junior aachil Silchar thakiya, being sylethi we were quite good friends.
He told me once a ghotona of a well-known doctor and his compounder of Silchar ( I forgot the name of doctor as well as compunder too). The compounder was famous and used to act as doctor during absence of the doctor and he was also known for his great sense of humour and wit.
Ekbar ek bhai saab aaichoin oi daktarer kachey. Daktar chamber o achla na, compounder yey sob dekhiya koila injection nitey hoibo.
Bhaisaab ektu dorai gela, koila “koi injection nitey hoibo?”
Compounder yey koila, “ Apnarey to ei injection lairo nitey hoibo”
Bhaisaab: “ Ei chara ar upai nai ni”?
Compunder : “ Na” ei koiya tain ample bhangia syringe o bhrola are Bhaisaab rey koila
“Lungi tuloin, ultiya shoin”.
Bhaisaabyey lungi tuliya laair ultaiya beechnat shoila.
Injection ditey giya compounder yey jigaila, “ Apnar nam kita?”
Bhaisaabyey koila, “Aaaigya amar naam hoil Kutu Mia”
Componder: “ Naam to afnar Kutu Mia kintu laair dui khan to Bharatborsho” !!!!!!!
