This guy should be put on a plane back to india IMMEDIATELY FROM HARARE after the debacle against aussies and replaced by any other player sitting in the bench..make anil kumble captain.120 runs in 10 matches ..WTF he doesn't belong to this team. We must not have a captain who fails 10 times.... it's not 1,2,3 and 4 times , we r counting 10 . This moron is saying he is clueless after the defeats...what the heck he is thinking ..has he gone brain dead ? Have u guys seen how he got out againts australia. Is he day dreaming in the pitch ?

Commentators instigated fans: Srinath

In a scathing attack on television commentators, speedster Javagal Srinath on Friday accused them for "inciting and instigating" the fans, which resulted in the extreme reactions back home in the wake of India's loss to Australia in a World Cup league match.
"I believe when the criticism from the commentators, may be the media, go beyond extreme, it could probably incite or instigate our emotional fans. We are really disappointed with what they spoke," Srinath said. "Some of the comments were really harsh on the players."(rediff.com)
p.s -bottomline is we lost to australia..best team in the world..why is everyone hellbent on behaving as if we it was forgone conclusion tht we wud win....the gulf between australia and the rest of the world is there for all to see...the nature of the oneday game being wht it is we can still defeat them but tht wudnt for one moment mean we r the better team..ofcourse we shud chastise the team for the way they caved in without a fight..but lets keep it to wht they did on the field..donot make it personal..and i believe ganguly is only at fault as a batsman...he has been failing there...cant see and dont see anythin drastically wrong with his captaincy...prey wht is the cpatain going to do if team is going to get shot out for 120 odd every second game.....u think clive llyod wud make a difference...? every batsman goes through these phases,,,sachin was strugglin to open his account in WI remember? ..the only proven match winner in ODIs for india after sachin his ganguly..proven being the operative word here.. |
