True that the result today would have been different had he send Dravid and Yubraj to bat before him ... |

interesting developments ..
1) The morning after the ban was announced, Ganguly flew to Kolkata and drove straight to the residence of former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya.
There, it was decided to file the appeal; Dalmiya and a team of legal experts led by BCCI's lawyer Usha Nath Banerjee worked on the draft appeal.
The main ground cited is that per the ICC's own rules, there is no provision for banning a player for slow over rates on level 2 and 3 offenses
2) A further twist was added by BCCI president Ranbir Singh Mahindra. Asked for reactions on the development, Mahindra told rediff.com: "If Ganguly is not there in the squad, then how can he play in Kanpur?"
Mahendra's point is that since the national selectors had dropped Ganguly and inducted Sriram into the side, the Indian captain is not at this point in time any longer a part of the 15-member team list.
Given that, the BCCI chief points out, he cannot be included in the playing eleven, let alone lead the side in Kanpur.
Nice drama ... but is it worth the pain ... let ganguly practice for the next few months and then they can decide :) |

;) Yes Good Drama ! (The morning after the ban was announced, Ganguly flew to Kolkata and drove straight to the residence of former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya.) and we got evening result ...it Works again POWER of Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya ( God Father of Sourav Ganguly).
If BCCI allow to Play him in New Delhi and if Dada again show his poor performence -what will happen God Knows !
Not only Team India even BCCI used to say " DADA KO MAT CHEID NA NAHEE TOH 033 DIAL KAR DEGA "( 033 @ PHONE TO DALMIYA) !
dont worry sourav ....DALMIYA SAAB HAI NA ! ;)

It may be a good proposal to include him in the team as the non-playing captain of the team, in line with Davis Cup |
