I read this in some of the web site. It's really shocking, You all please take care....

"Train services in the Lumding-Badarpur hill section have been disrupted due to landslides caused by torrential rains since July 9. Railway sources said that the 85-km stretch between Fiding and Mahur, 115 km between Bagetar and Jatinga, 132 km between Mailongdisa-Harangazao, and Bandarkhal areas have been affected. Talking to this Correspondent, the railway area manager of Badarpur said that the passenger train services between Lumding and Badarpur hill sections had been suspended for 48 hours. Meanwhile, road communication have also been suspended due to heavy landslide at Sonapur following incessant rains. Meanwhile, the overall flood situation in the Barak Valley turned grave with the three districts of the valley — Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi — experiencing rising water levels. According to the Flood Control Dept, the waters of Barak and Kushiara rivers are flowing above the danger mark."

Any news of flood situation at Karimganj ?

It seems our Karimganjian friends who are residing at Karimganj these days are very angry and don't want to share their news. It makes me feel cry :'(

Being worried about my motherland and about my people, if that is a act of smartness, then trust me I am smarter than you. Your message reminds an old American friend of mine, who one very fine day asked me what happened to Bengal and Assam, has it stoped producing Royal Bengal Tiger, Ravindranath, Subhas Chandra Bose, Gopinath etc. (although he could not pronounce all the names properly) I could not answer to his question but today I am feeling proud that I can answer to him the answer and the credit goes to we Bengalis of course (I guess I don't have to explain how and why). Hey thanks buddy for helping me in getting answer to this painfull question. Well Mr. Moinuddin, to understand all these you have to be little more literate, I don't want to be in an urgument with you, because I have got much better things to do. And they say "Silence is the best violence".

I have got a request here, if you have nothing to say then better keep silent let someone else to talk perhaps he/she has got better things to share. And trust me in todays world people appreciate good listeners. Please don't try to spoil the greatness of Silchar.com using unparliamentary languages. Few years back I was really very selfish, was concerned about neither Karimganj nor Karimganjians. Wanted to be li'l closer to all my fellow Karimganjians but it seems few guests consider this to be act of smartness. God bless Karimganj and Karimganjians..... :'(

Well , flood situation is grim in Karimganj...it is sad .
But someone is crying for Karimganj and her fellow dwellers here.
Ah, does it not make anyone feel how selfish/self-centered he/she is? Fellow Karimganjian's!! please save a noble son of Karimganj from crying.... :'( . He has unleashed his tears in this room in the sorrow of Karimganj because....
...because he had to post something in the web-site. My dear patriot, frankly, when you were in the land of Karimganj itself, wasn't there any flood? And if so did you use to cry like that then also? And what else did you do besides flooding for Karimganj then besides flooding her with your precious tears?

Yes I know being Indian we welcome all guests wanted or UNWANTED, like the way we did for British.

So, Mr./ Miss guest I think your english is as poor as your level of IQ. If you read Sandy's posts you will understand he is not crying because of flood, rather he is upset because he is not getting any posts from his friends from Karimganj, whom I think he is missing being far away from his home land. And I guess he is kindda pissed off with all these stinkers as we are. So, guest stop pissing of we have already got flood at Karimganj.

As I said it's a bad luck for Karimganj to have unwanted guests like you. I feel sorry for you. Don't be upset Sandy bhai, they say it's their fundamental right.

I have got a request here if you have nothing to say but nuisance then better stop and let some one else talk may be he /she has got something better to say

i am sorry because i am the one who write once a message by name of Moinuddin & because of my Muslim friend was with me by Name Moinuddin at that time & he protect me to write that word & he says me its not social thing. I request you pls, before you comment anything think it can be done by your own brother or anyone who close to u for that u can't blame all his society or his comunity. I am very closer to some Muslum family & i know they are very social,well cultured & helpfull to all & they also says all human & world created by god & if u help any body in the world u will get benifit after u die . So, i get a big shock when u write

I am sorry because i do the mistake for you & make you engry & you blame the whole muslim. But i want to say you finally that there are good & bad people is available in every community & if one is not good means not that all not good.

Forget it. We are matured enough. And look back how far you have come from the actual topic.

Lets share the better side of life amidst us. Seems the situation is quite ok now after the heavy downpour and incessant flood. Good to know indeed. Now Karimganj myt be gearing up for the Durga Puja. Kena kata myt have started. Station Road, Old Station Road, Madan Mohan Road etc. myt have b'com chaotic again. Miss a lot.

Well Central govt. realeased some crore for Barrakvelly & i Know it from one X MP.
I am student in Delhi & due to a reason i go to one Gentleman in Delhi. He ask me where you are from.I says Assam. Then he ask me from Where. I replyed May be You don't know the Place I am from Silchar. I know Silchar , He replied. He started to say,
Silchar was famous for Altaf Hussain MP. He was a example on that time in between MPs. He was a person who was able to have PM. When We talk about devolopment , he shout i need This Engineering College in Silchar or i will resign, I need Medical College in Silchar or i will resign, I need paper mill in Cachar or i will resign from my seat , 1 by one he get all the Way of devolopment in Silchar i.e. Politicnics, ITI, Medical,Engineering,Papermill,SugarMill,Airport,Radio Station & so many other things in his Place & he become example inbetween all the MP's on that time. He do all the devolopment in cachar on that time . We was new on that time but he was a hero for us & we all follow him as a good MP. If you get any more leader like Altaf Hussain You will be one of the devolop region in the world , find out some one like Altaf Hussain who work for others not for himself . Central govt is Realising a lot of money fot devolopment & if the leaders can use it properly your place may become very well devolop compare to other place of india . How can i forget this Place , He replied.

Altaf Hussain & I get some negative reply because my grand mother don't know anything about any person. She is totally house wife.

Dear all viewers,
Hope all fine & enjoying Puja & Ramdhan same time. Actually i fell this sight is for Hindu- Muslim fighting sight. But why to fight, it was a game started by british between hindus highclass pujari & low cast people between hindu & muslim . Also some politisians & parties use it & they get power due to only this communial reason. But we are in 21 centuary & there is no time to do so. Do good get good , do bad get bad this is the only result.
Finally god is one .
Bhagobhan,god,allah,esswer all same & our formula is same get birth in the world , alive for few days,years then die & thats all. In this short period of aliving we have to do so many good things like, do study, get good income, get good job to help the nature , help own mother father , help your own child to get good thoughts all the things we have to do. Don't west our time to think for nothing.
Do good get good.
Once i was a criminal but i found now its a game of some society builder & politisians & they make the situation between everybody & get benifited themself.
I was hating one cast people & finally my own cast doesn't support me & the other cast help me to solv my every problem.
