Koto koto moja ei rail garite ghurte!!
I love a train journey, chai gorom, anda voil-voil anda (ashole boil) ;D...chana garam, ghori chai, belt chai, Chinene balm chai, ochena manusher shatehe antakhashari khela...koto manush...koto golpo..koto smriti..jeno ekta cholonto mela!!
Jodio aajkaal AC train gulote emon hoina, boro ekgheye boring journey!!
Train er pooooooooooooooo horn ta shunlei mone hoi duuuurer hath chhani..jeno kothai chole jai..
Compartment er janala guli jeno jiboner jolchhobi...koto manush, chhobi, ektar por ekta jibonto chhobi diye jachhe koto rokomer obhiggota...jeno jibonto picture trail...!!
Chhotobelai khub ichha korto train er dorjar shamne darai...kintu maa bapi jete ditona. :'(
Goto bochhor prothom nije nije eka eka journey korlam...Rajdhani r ticket chhilona, Brahmaputra AC kamra, kintu okhane dorja khule darano jai. Ami amar pooro moner ichha puro korechhi dorjar shamne dariye dariye...
kane walk man lagiye onoboroto Sur filmer gaan gulo shune gelam... dorjar shamne dariye unmader moto batash er shathe kotha bola...chhoto chhoto chhele meyeder ta-ta korechhi...ki moja ki moja...eto anondo ami jeno kokhono paini..oi gaan ta shunlei ami ekhono shei muhurto gulo anubhob korte pari. :D

Ja bolechho.... amar prachur bhalo bhalo smriti aache train jatra niye... mone hoy shobbari aache. Chhotobela train-e raattire ghumotam na... mone hoto eto shundar samay-ta ghumiye nashta korte nei... tai anek raat obdhi janala diye baire cheye thaktam... aar khub shokkale uthe portam abaar... jodi ei shonar kathi rupor kathir moto anubhuti ta kam pore jay?
Boro hoye anek pakhna beriyeche... aajkal nongra thaakle ghin ghin kore... garam thaakle koshto hoy... pasher lokera jore jore katha bolle katmat kore takai... chhotobela chahida gulo khub chhoto chhoto chhilo kina, tai amra ektu tei santushta thaktam.
Shob shishurai, apu durga theke shuru kore ami aar tumi... relgaari shobbai bhalobashe... kintu amar bhetorer shei shishuta kothai jaani hariye geche... taar daak aar shunte pai na. |

Anyone remember ,IN 80s, the onle n only dependable transport to Guwahati from Silchar was ...through mode of Meter-gedge journey i.e. the famous....'Cachar(07:00pm) n Barak Express(11:00am)"..via...silchar-Badarpurghat----Bandarkhal---Ditekchora--Harengajao---Jatinga--Haflong-Lumding---Ghy..---comprising of 36 TUNNELS...Dishes of ''Gorom gorOm dail,aluvaza n piyaz''(in Lumding) ,Taza Anaros.(in Halflong) .., 'KOMMLA', naspati(HARENGAJAO).....
...it was really another TOY-TRAIN journey if I now look back.

I remember the train while going to Hailakandi from Tezpur. Right!! the kamala lebus, boro boro haflong marka :P

A true story comes to mind on rail journey.
Some years back when one of my brother-in-law was studying MBBS in Dhaka, he had to go to Sylhet quite often. One day as he waited for the 5.30am train, the train arrived exactly on time. He said to the station master,
"Bangladesh dekhi onek unnoti kori laise".
Station master: kene ei kotha ta koila babu.
B-in-law. Na maney 5.30 minute er train je 5.30 minute ei ai gese.
Station master. Oh, arey babu eita to kalke er train ajke aise. ;D ;D |

II. station o namio na, bucho ni, kun somoi chari dibo train !!!!
III. keu kichu khawar dile khaio na, behus koria sob nibo giya !!!
IV. pocket o sosyo rakhio, naile ratre bela Count Draculai dhorbo.
Didibhai, do u have SAARC kind of thing when all ur family member get together in a common place???
