yeah "texas", the indian independence day at Dallas, reminds me of home. I really miss those things out here, but I guess u ought to pay the price of this land.
I would love to see the sylhetti get together sprout here someday soon.

There are couple of more events coming up in Dallas. Shah Rukh and bolly clan are coming down on sept. 24....already lotz of adds for them in anand bazar.....

I too live in Dallas. Curious to know abt ur nest.
And what u know, sharukh khan and ..... i think are only exciting when they are 2D not excited to see them 3D. I feel its a waste. Your thoughts could be different and I do respect them.

yes that was a question for u. myself in dallas too. lemme know ur mailid or phone no.
ur idea of shan rukh and clan is correct. i was just mentioning bout the upcoming events in dallas area so that if anyone is interested. anyway our anand bazar desi get together was not bad atall. i felt at home. why don u give ur contact details, maybe we can get in touch.

hi there....
i came to us just abt a 20 days back....i m now in NJ, kearny.
my university is NJIT. i m here to do my MS in EE. i graduated this yr 4m REC silchar....
neways, nice to hear v hv OUR ppl out here. frankly speaking i m really missing our silchar, & my friends out there....not to mention the "adda" that v used to give in premtola almost each day....I M REALLY MISSING MY SILCHAR.

Ok.. since there are about 20 responses, maybe we can organize an annual get together after all... What do you guys think?
Typically all the Indian communities do it on the 4th of July weekend. If we can get enough people together, we might even make it a reality. |
