;)Er chaite classic hall aar hai na nani.Balcony is cheaper than rear stall.And out of the blue on mahashashthi Kaalia is released.More 1942 a love story flops here while gets a better deal elsewhere.But more than that 8.15p movies are super duper sale outs ocassionally.We sure miss 'Mere Bibi' and all those potboilers out here don't we... |

btw did u guys got a chance to see the rogerwater show in b'lore..??? whole life I was waiting for one pink floyd show and when roger water himself came to our own country I wasn't there... that's fate I guess..!! |

i did get a chance..in fact a guy from college kept begging me to go...seems as if they had bought too many tickets....but unfortunately or fortunately my holidays coincided..and i took the rare chance to come back to good ol' silchar...i guess silchar took precedence over waters...things would have been different had syd barrett turned up..one of my heroes...but no such luck..last known the guy's living with his mother in a village near cambridge..painting water colours..looks like all that acid he dropped must have cooked his mind.....
.....nver gave much of a f... for waters anyway..people may disagree but the guy is a creep..all that pathos against his mother and the world in the wall concert is pathetically false..the guy had an absolutely fata fati childhood..so why sing "mother do you think they'll break my balls " or whatever?
anyway..according to reports,the concert ws pretty good..the tickets were cool..looked just like credit cards..with waters on them.

:) :)btw,there's an unconfirmed rumour that sir moni is going to be given a memento by the honourable authorities of gopinath cinema hall for regular patronage over the years......which also reminds me how an unfortunate friend of mine met the great man inside the hall when something like daku hasina was on.....apparently,nothing much happened...'kita ba,bhala aso ni?aajkal kita korray?"..to which my friend replied:"saar,pora shuna chari disi..schooler pore ar kuno khano mon lagse na...akta choto khato paaner dukan disi..parle aiba.."or some gibberish to that effect.... ::) ::) |

hendrix reminds me of so many incidents i had in gopinath cinema hall while watching semi-horror, semi-___ movies. moreover i used to look like a blacker (i mean thats wat my friends used to call me), in orange shirt, green trousers, yellow shoes blah blah blah. ;D ;D ;D and my presence used to bring smile in the faces of the gals. no doubt i was good looking ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
