GOD IS NOT DEAF
Not many weeks earlier, I visited Silchar for fifteen days. To my disgust, not even a night I could sleep properly. In the very early hours of every morning, people of Muslims community will start on howling (supposed to be their so-called prayers) in earsplitting voices from every mosque using the PA system in the town with a language that one do not understand nor have the desire to comprehend!
Soon they are done with this systematic torture, Hindus will start playing tapes (Basta Pocha same old noises) from the money making factories called as mandir or temple as if they are in competition with the Muslims. Some of these mandirs have sprung up overnight and are the hub of all manner of anti social activities. I personally have witnessed gambling & drinking in the evening is a must agenda of these places. After making these ridiculous noises Hindus will turn off their stupid system only to switch on again in the evening. However, the Muslims will continue to make the blast few more times through out the day. As if god needs repeated reminders!
What a stupid way to pray to Allah or Bhagavan. First of all, is the Allah or Bhagavan deaf? As we know he does not have any ear problem so why make these blast in the morning?
Does Allah have silly personality like we the human? If noises will make Bhagavan joyful, don’t we know that he can create thunders to please himself? And if these people are doing it for the general public, then did it help any one so far and in what way?
What about the people who do not believe in any god? Why they should be tormented repeatedly every single day in the early morning through out the year? What about the time & ages, when there were no batteries or electricity, how did the Muslims & Hindus prayed to god?
Have we become so injudicious as a nation that day in & day out our ignorant & illiterate people will play these childish games in the name of religion and secularity to create daily havoc for others?
Religion & religious beliefs have killed more people in India then anything else. Ram mandir & Babri Masque are good examples so are the fighting between Catholics & Protestants. At least intellectual people of Silchar should know that “God helps those who helps themselves.” Making noises is not the way.
God is not deaf & we do not need to make unnecessary noises in order to get his attention! Every time we make these clamor & clatter, god is laughing his head out and saying “You stupid idiots, why you all are ruining your ear drums!”
Who has seen what happens after death? If we can not live peacefully now while we are alive, who cares how we will be living after death? If god can be made blissful by what we do (Namaj, Kirtan, Prayers, Puja’s, giving offerings & donations) do anyone in his right mind can tell me why we are having, what we are having in this world?
At least intellectuals of Silchar should know that “God helps those who helps themselves.” Unless god is deaf!
