Hey Guys,
I think Dr. Jhataka is one immortal soul, has loomed over REC Silchar, for, I don't know how many years and will be haunting it forever. Share your views, experience with Dr. Jhataka and (jhataki, I wonder, was there any body like Jhataki, like her). I remember, once I had sore throat and some burns in my mouth, and he said, with a a very grim face, " I think, these are the symptoms of HIV infection. Get it checked at Guwahati". It was a nightmare for me. I could'nt sleep for many days, till I got my self checked at Guwahati, after full 2000 INR.
Guys, I am sure there would be numerous similar incidents. Come up.
Cheers Mac. |

well.. I do remember something vaguely..and I guess this was sometime during the 95-99 period...one of our friends went to the dispensary for some pain killers .. he was having a terrible headache..and seems jhatka told him to take off his shirt and pants and lie down . God knows what would have happened if he had done that !!!! :-) |

Hi all
One day, during my ragging period I was not much aware of the gr8ness of Jhatka. I had some sore throat and I went to Jhatka for some routine check up with a friend of mine. Jhatka first measured my blood pressure and wrote a lot of things in the prescription. Finally he said me that I am in the initial stage of throat cancer. He said me to take a leave of 2 months a go to some better hospital. I was struck dumb. But later my seniors told me that thats how Jhatka is all about. But man I really had a very bad time then.......
Ha ha ;D :D ;) :) |
