Death. A small moment but a large truth.
«on: 06/09/05 at 03:52:07 »

WHEN I have fears that I may cease to be
Before my pen has glean’d my teeming brain,
Before high piled books, in charact’ry,
Hold like rich garners the full-ripen’d grain;
When I behold, upon the night’s starr’d face,
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,
And think that I may never live to trace
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance;
And when I feel, fair creature of an hour!
That I shall never look upon thee more,
Never have relish in the faery power
Of unreflecting love! - then on the shore
Of the wide world I stand alone, and think
Till Love and Fame to nothingness do sink.

This is a poem by Keats, (not me) which was published after he passed away, a collection of his Posthumous and Fugitives.  A thought that we always have, somewhere at the back of the mind. Just like that song, " Aami nei, Aami nei...bhabtei bethai......." Lets discuss.

Dear Keats,

Your post reminds me of the story of Mahabharata.   When Yudhistrira was confronted with Yaksha, in some part of  Mahabharata,  Yaksha asked Yudhistrira some questions which has to be answered correctly by Yudhistrira  to escape from Yaksha. one of them was;

Q : What is so strange about humane being ?
A :  Even though every body has to die one day or other, people don’t think or talk or take action with respect to one’s death.

Note : I am collecting all these questions. If anybody comes across these questions from Mahabharata, please post them.

PS,
Dear Keats,
I have seen your other lovely posts elsewhere. Thank you for sharing  your  thoughts with us, we are waiting for more posts from you.

The ultimate truth of life is "death".
The ultimate fear in the living is "death"
The ultimate darkness is "death"
When it comes, its the greatest peace.
                     "RIP".

This is the part of an Eulogy written by Edward Kennedy, at the death of his brother, John Kennedy.....

That is the way he lived. That is what he leaves us.

My brother need not be idealized, or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life, to be remembered simply as a good and decent man, who saw wrong and tried to right it, saw suffering and tried to heal it, saw war and tried to stop it.

Those of us who loved him and who take him to his rest today, pray that what he was to us and what he wished for others will some day come to pass for all the world.

As he said many times, in many parts of this nation, to those he touched and who sought to touch him:

"Some men see things as they are and say why.
I dream things that never were and say why not."

Life is still beautiful, lets not talk about death. Life is beatiful till you believe that it is. There are times, when you believe that you are dead or even worse......but when that phase passes, you realise that it has made your faith a little more stronger, and life a little more beautiful.

Death is beautiful...I believe that as well, but life is still  beautiful and I want to live ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D and with none other but life itself.

Life and Death are two yet not two...........

May be analogised as the two sides of the same coin...called Life in totality....

Life is the Ocean...the crest of the wave is condition of living,  the trough is death....the process of appearance goes on and on....life remains same.

I never die
You too...never die....
Oh! Me!

Death:

This is the truth I love, and am happily waiting for...I am watching my life, after that I want to see what else I have after death.

No philosophy works here, you must die.

Ohh sweet Death
Take me into your cold embrace
I am tired, tired,tired
Let me sleep peacefully
On my head stone
Write those cold words
"Here lies the old soul
Too young to die!!"

The ultimate truth is Death, why dont we love it?

Ciggerettes and Bottled beer...
Tend to make my life sincere...
Disregard my spelling errors,
in this world we hold so dear.
Turn the page and hear my fears,
outbursts of anger and tears...
Policies of love and hate, make it hard to concentrate...Why can't
death be my fate?
Partying hard will leave a scar...
but who am I to lower the bar?
Death is life, and life is death...
What a feeling my so called last breath.
They say I'm negative, but they don't feel the pain or think about the
death train...
All I want to do is stay sane...
Who is to blame? Society?
Blame is such a horrid word contemplated in the mind of the bored!
Good-bye to pain...take away the stain...at last aboard the death train.
