Hello.
Someone gave me a date in bengali and i need to find out its equivelant in english calender.
The date in bengali is 4(four) Ashin(6) 1382 (thirteen eightytwo) and it was sunday.
i roughly worked out its in 1975 but thats as far as i got. :-(
hope somebody with a right mind can help me out.

I think you're Siddhartha Das right ?? Ei date or kita dorkar ba? Jeu houk tumar takiya to boro hoibo...anyway, ekdom dub mari dilai nu reba...kita byapar ??
I was born on 1 Kartik 1382...that was 20th October 1975 in English...Kartik comes after Ashwin...so please do the mental Math yourself...but remember that Ashwin might have 30/31 or 32 days, I'm not sure...find out the no. of days in Ashwin and you'll have your date.
I think that'll solve your problem. |

4th Ashwin 1382 probably translates to 21st September 1975 but I am not sure and maybe wrong.Ashwin is normally a month with 30 or 31 days.It varies but there is no pattern to that variation, like in 1406(1999), it was 31 days but last year and even this year it is 30 days. |
