Bahut diner pore dhamaail kothata shunlam.
Purana diner kotha mone porer. Aaijkaail bodh hoy dhamaail ar hoinaa. Most prob its a thing of the past in the urban areas.
But I had the opportunity of attending quite a few marriages in my childhood and early teens when this particular form of entertainment was very much a part and parcel of any marriage ceremony. It usually started at night and boy, what sort of enjoyment it could provide.
I will try and compile a list of dhamaails and try to post these on this thread. |

I still remember our thamma, pishis, sister....we were together after a long time!!!I with my family went to our village...where my grand family lived..we used to live in Jorhat that time!!

My thamma is no more...I really miss her :(

...dhamail is really SUPER-DUPER enjoyable..Ek kothaay FANTABULAOUS..amar biyat it would be pre-condition...also it looks best when the bahus are WEARING the SAREEs in that fashion only(ulta to normal way of wearing saree added by a GOOCHCHA OF keys in komor/waist, like thakuma n didima.....the whole dress is really COOL N FASCINATING,{also se*y 2 me atleast})..
