Can anyone help?

Hi,
I'm an English student teacher working in Tower Hamlets, East London in a mainly Syhleti community. My class are year 5, so they are mostly 9 years old - what I'd really like are a few ideas for things from their own culture to inspire them with, such as poetry, music, and inspirational figures and characters, etc. I don't speak Syhleti so anything anyone can suggest would need to be in English for me! If anyone has any suggestions for places I could look to find things I'd be really grateful

I dont know any sylheti poetry but yes i know one sylheti song "shader lao banailo more boiragi"Why dont you go ahead with this song? ;D
