Hi Kaushik,
I happened to be in Jadavpur University around the same time Rajeeb was there. I am presently in hyd. and am also looking for Rajeeb. Maybe Pinakda(Pinak Pani Nath) of hailakandi has some idea about him.You can get to pinak at pinak@juphys.ernet.in
