Barak Upatakya Banga Shahitya Snmilon

The biggest cultural extravaganza of Barak valley is hosted by Karimganj this year. It is probably the best time to be in Karimganj, mela, Banga Shahitya, Saraswati Puja. Kindda feeling nostalgic again.
Hey does anyone know what was the special event in Banga Shahitya this year? Who was the best performer? I just heard about it from one of my friend but interested to know more.....

Just because u r a full member, that doesnt give u the right to suggest who shall speak and who shall remain silent. Everyone and anyone can participate here and just because ur views doesnt matches others that doesnt mean u r right. Ofcourse i am immature , i m only 20 . But no one made the rule here that immature people can't write to this forum.If u have such rules , I would like to know from the Admin. Hopefully , u r n intelligent and intellectual person, so if you din't like my ideas, u should have guided me to the right instead of critizing my behaviour. And u "did" hurt my sentiments. And if thats the way , this forum welcomes a girl's views, it's a real dissapointment. And the reason how i can judge my freinds merit is b'cos I am a Mathematics student at IMPERIAL UNIVERSITY in london and i got in b'cos of my merit n not b'cos my father is a millionaire and i know that my freinds r better than me.
And about ur Banga Sahitya Snmelon, i heard that scholars from Bangladesh were invited to the discussions and paintings by someone(I dont remember the name ) were really good.
Again they r mine n my freinds' views which may differ from the interest of ur generation.
By the way, u din't give much chance to smile on ur mails.

Hey Paromita,
You totally knocked me off. First of all accept my apologies. Trust me I really appreciate you and am sure today’s youth will be inspired by you. Yeah there is a huge gap between your and my way of looking at life but I don't call it generation gap, I call it difference in opinion. After all we don't live in a perfect world and we don't have any right to judge any person (including our friends). They are the best in their own world.
Hey thanks for those inputs about Banga Sahitya. Do you know who all performed from Karimganj/ Silchar or Hailakandi? Do you happen to have some pictures of the events? If yes, why don't you send them to admin@silchar.com and ask him to post in Silchar.com or upload in any yahoo brief case and share with everyone here.
Reading your post I really feel ashamed of me because of hurting your womanhood. I really feel bad about it. Trust me Silchar.com is such a wonderful destination for everyone at Barak valley and speak.
