Assam university screwed it up again

Once again Assam University shows the ultimate irresposible act of misevaluation of examinations papers. As this has been a regular feature of this university, I wonder why there has not been any report in the papers, complaints or big protests. Nothing can be far more dangerous for the whole Barak Valley than this. So many students are losing all of their hopes.
What can be a more serious crime than teachers or university administration killing all hopes in students with their own blunders and irresponsibility.
I am wondering why nobody has been held accountable for all these. So many of our intelligentsia visit this site. Don't you wanna call it a rather grim situation in the future of Silchar?
Why are we not having a mass protest against this kind of an utterly recklessness and irresponsible act of this University. |

yeah... this is nothing new... the same obnoxious practice has been being repeated over the years...last year it was our turn, fortunately I was spared. But te worst sufferers were the English Hons Students.... the misfortune happebed to many of my friends who didn't deserve to be failed at all. although, After a long agitation.. students movement.. some of them manaed to pass
But the problem is that none over there seems to be very much inerested in solvong this chronic problem.
Everyone is doing a "Dhritorastro". |

Would contacting the UGC people or maybe the Ministry of Human resource help? Anybody has any thought on this?
If we can hit this time together, they are gonna have to change messed up way.
Why are junta so passive about such an important topic?

This is very distressing.
can someone please give us all a few more details. what went wrong? how many students from barak valley are affected? which papers were misevaluated? etc etc Please come forward with details all those who have them. I am in the process of getting getting in touch with some people Please furnish DETAILS IMMEDIATELY |

This is indeed a very shameful and deplorable state of affairs for our much cherished university.Thanks ripan229 for bringing up this issue.
Now the question is what can we do about it sitting thousands of miles away from Silchar. I could find only two email addresses from the "official" website of Assam University.... auliba AT sancharnet.in and asokesen AT sancharnet.in
Sending individual emails to one of these may not work at all, and so I would recommend that we use the online petition system from petitiononline.com to voice our anger and outrage about the sorry state of affairs of the university. Signatures can be collected online from Silcharites worldwide and sent by email or someone can deliver it by hand to the Vice Chancellor in Silchar.
Now to write the petition we would need much more details on this issue so that we can make a coherent protest. So more data please.... |

Right Ripan, mass protest is the only way to solve this issue which is jeopardizing the future of the AU students. This cannot be an intra-departmental issue any more. |
